What We Think
It was pretty busy when we visited Geitonia Traditional Kebab House, but the staff quickly found a table for us. The restaurant and menu are simple, but there’s something for everyone. We chose the Mixed Grill and Halloumi Platter, which were delicious and generously portioned. The friendly and attentive staff ensured all guests were well cared for. It was a delightful dining experience with tasty food and excellent service.

The restaurant is busy, the food is tasty and plentiful, and the prices are good. Only the service could be improved a lot... We sat in front of our empty plates for at least 15 minutes and the service staff walked past our table "empty" countless times?!
Traditional place with the friendliest people! We ordered the meze and we loved it! Prices and portions were very good for todays standards! We will be back again for sure!
Last time we came this place was exceptional. Tonight just left feeling really underwhelmed. Brought friends this time and service was dreadful, and while sheftalia was still excellent, the chicken kebab was unseasoned and quite average. At no point did anyone ask how we were, and normally guests get Cypriot delight and a thank you - that was missing too. A real shame.

The place is large with tables also outside.
The waiters are kind and ready, but you have to arrive early for dinner otherwise the wait is long.
I ordered a sheftalia pita and chicken nuggets and they also brought me the classic Greek appetizer.
Honest prices in line with other similar restaurants (a few euros more than the old menu on Google).

The best kebab in Peyia, I had a regular Chicken Kebab in pitta, very tasty, I'll come again soon.
I tried a few tavernas around Paphos (about 100km) and all of them had top ratings. I was disappointed by some of them because the reviews didn't correspond to reality. This restaurant was by far the warmest, most typically Cypriot, with the tastiest food and mum at the cooker. A real family restaurant with an interesting story about how it came about.
We actually got to meet the whole family and got much more than a great meal because we felt like friends.If I could give it 10 stars, I would. Before I forget, order the MEZEEEE😊

I would award more stars if I could. Fabulous food, impeccable service and fantastic value for money.

Amazing experience. Nice and friendly staff, excellent food - we have not tasted better kebab in Cyprus. Plus a lovely outdoor seating area with a view. I highly recommend visiting this place!
Everything is great, thank you very much to this family who runs this tavern. Everything is very delicious. It's a pity that it's very hot inside. I advise everyone to visit.
Don't expect kebabs like in Europe. This one is on charcoal. Simply a pleasure for all the senses.
I’ve visited this place three times in a row. They serve some of the best kebabs I’ve ever had. It’s hard to find better. They use fatty pork and chicken legs instead of the drier cuts others serve. The potatoes are freshly fried, and the salad is always fresh. The service is friendly, and the atmosphere is down-to-earth. Real, satisfying food.
We ate here a couple of nights ago & it was a delight. The food was delicious with a welcoming & attentive service. Everything on the menu is very reasonably priced & the quality of the food served exceeded our expectations. Great spot to eat at & it does takeaway too!

Wow. Just WOW. The atmosphere was great, but the main reason you come to the restaurant is to eat. Eating at this place to me was an incredible experience. The food was just simply delicious.
