Located at the start of the Akamas Peninsula in Peyia, Searays Cafe Bar is a cozy haven perfect for chilling with friends and family. Owned by the friendly Irish couple Kevin and Rachel Watchorn, this café bar offers a mix of home-cooked food, a variety of drinks, and spectacular sunset views. Whether you’re stopping by for a meal or just a drink, you’ll feel right at home in this relaxed and welcoming atmosphere.
We enjoyed today’s fantastic sunset from Seareays Cafe Bar with an ice-cold Keo, a tasty home-cooked burger, a yummy Tomato Aubergine, and a Courgette Bake with a fabulous Cyprus jacket potato. Seareays is a simple but cozy bar offering home-cooked food, an international menu, a wide range of drinks, cocktails, and beautiful sunsets. The staff was welcoming and attentive; we could still order food despite arriving about 1.5 hours before closing. Thank you, Rachel and Kevin, for the pleasant experience. We’ll definitely be back soon.

This cafe bar is just perfect. We stopped on our way from the gorge for lunch. The owner is simply amazing and soooo nice. The steak sandwich, the steak ragu and deserts were top notch. Simple but so well tought out with taste combinations. Best dining experience on Cyprus. And the view of the see is great. There is a road in front but its realy not busy. And they have everything you need for a child. From a changing table to lower sinks for a todler. If we ever return to Cyprus we are definetly coming back!
ABSOLUTELY NOT RECOMMENDED We ordered Halloumi salad and they served us an inedible, bitter oil with an unpleasant taste to dress it When we pointed this out we were told that it was the fault of the oil cruets exposed to the sun!!! Incredible that they didn't propose to change the now seasoned dish, so we were content to eat the cheese having the foresight to dry it from the oil. You write that we consumed both dishes but it's not true, leaving all the salad when I order the salad is not eating the dish, your oil was inedible because it was rancid
As always a first class menu plenty of choice for all tastes, great range of wines to pick from. The staff are very friendly and helpful A fabulous place to watch the sunset Totally Recommend.
If you are looking for a restaurant before going to enjoy the beaches and hikes on the west coast, go for it! The welcome is very warm and the service impeccable. The menu is very varied and the dishes prepared on the spot. The view overlooking the sea is very pretty. Parking is available on site. A big thank you for these two lunches spent by your side 🙏🌟
I recently had the pleasure of dining at this wonderful establishment and was thoroughly impressed by both the food and the service. From the moment I walked in, the staff were welcoming and attentive, ensuring that my experience was nothing short of exceptional. The highlight of my meal was the Mexican wrap, which was bursting with flavor and perfectly balanced. The ingredients were fresh and the seasoning was just right, making each bite an absolute delight. Overall, I can't recommend this place enough – it's a true gem!
The best Guinness and lovely food. Highly recommend the Tomato, Aubergine and Courgette Bake with fabulous Cyprus jacket potato. Rachel and staff are lovely. Beautiful views too!
Irish owners love their job. Simple but cozy atmosphere, and decent food. It is almost on the coastline and is very close to amazing White River Beach.
Delighted to find this place run by friendly welcoming irish couple. super good pint of guinness and delicious home cooked burger and the tastiest chips. White wine was really good and the home baked warm choc fudge cake with icecream was just perfect. Mellow music in shaded area with Fab views over the sea made for a memorable relaxing yummy lunch. Definitely worth a visit. We were driving but It is within walking distance from white river beach.
