Nature Cafe Restaurant is a charming spot in Peyia, surrounded by banana plantations and just across from Santiero by the Sea Beach Lounge near Sea Caves. Known for its laid-back atmosphere and friendly service, it’s a popular choice for locals and visitors alike, especially on Sundays when the place gets quite busy.
We visited Nature Cafe Restaurant for a Sunday lunch and were pleased with the overall experience. The staff welcomed us warmly and let us pick our own table. The menu offers a nice mix of local and international dishes, along with some great seafood options. On Sundays, they have two special menus featuring Mixed Souvla with various sides, which is an excellent option if you want to try traditional Cypriot food.
We opted for a burger and one of the Sunday specials, along with a local Keo beer. The food was tasty, and the portions were just right. The atmosphere, with its lovely outdoor seating and the surrounding banana trees, made it a relaxing meal. Afterward, we enjoyed a brandy sour, which was an excellent way to end the meal. The restaurant is a family-run business, and you can really feel the personal touch in the service.

Read good reviews of Nature Restaurant, so decided to give it a go. The setting was nice and the tables were nicely spread out. We ordered a litre carafe of the local house white wine which was nicely chilled. Our waiter also put down a bucket of ice which was a nice additional touch. The wine was very tasty for a local one. For starters we shared a plate of houmous, with hot pitta bread and sliced white bread which was excellent. For main course I had Sheftalia, 4 massive meatballs, a nice salad and chips. My friend had the Moussaka. Both our mains were amazing, beautifully cooked. The Moussaka wasn't dry like many I've had in the past, and the Sheftalia was the best I've tasted. Service and food were both excellent. Will definitely be returning.
A lovely oasis of calm near the sea caves. The food is excellent and so fresh. The service is attentive without being tiresome and seeing so much green and healthy plants in the height of summer a refreshing dining experience.
I'm Cypriot and hence I know what a good Suvla tastes like. Let me tell you, the goat suvla here is one of the best I ever tried! Very kind and quick service too. We will be back.
Great service, giant portion sizes. Located by the road but well screened it doesn't affect the experience. parking is next to it and free, all in all a great lunch and we'll be back for evening food soon.
What a delicious meal we had! We had the Sunday special which comes with 3 types of BBQ'd meat, a huge village salad, giant roast potatoes, dips (the taramasalata was lovely) and bread. Lovely outdoor dining area, covered so your not in the sun. My only negative was the service was slow, nothing towards the team they were just very busy and we kind of got left behind.
I love coming to Nature Cafe. Their English breakfast is not on the menu, but they do have it, and it’s absolutely delicious! Fresh, non greasy. And pet friendly 🧡
This place was amazing. You can choose your own seating. There is an adequate list of options to choose from. We never expected to find such a good place to eat lunch. Nothing more I can really say.
Last lunch in 2023 a relaxing place place to sit on the coast; food and service is good; we are not talking fine dining, but this is not expected. For the money spend things are fine. We had been here 3 times; revisiting is planned. For me a good alternative to more posh places.
