The sand is not as fine as your traditional beach but this is not a tourist beach for you ordinary holiday makers, it is a Conservation beach for nature.
Set in a conservation area there are turtles nests which are not to be disturbed
Bring water and don’t expect to see public amenities such as toilets or refreshment shops as there are none
Be advised access is along loose gravel roads and hire cars may struggle, off-roader vehicles are recommended
If you want to be more private, this beach is for you.
Just keep in mind: there are quite a few metal "cages" which protect turtle nests, so don't just sit next to it, they are endangered, and if someone gets caught there is a possible fine, as turtles are an endangered species here in Cyprus.
The sand is very hot in summer as expected and there are a few nice waves. The problem with that beach is, that I could not stand literally a 2 meters in... So you need to be a good swimmer, and it is not very relaxing.
